During several days, the olive oil of first cold pressure and the bay laurel oil are cooked in a large cauldron with water and soda over a low heat, that is the process of saponification. Then the paste is run. Once cold it is divided by hand. The soaps have been arranged in tower in a cellar sheltered from the sun for 10 months. |
