Pendant plusieurs jours, l'huile d'olive de première pression à froid ainsi que l'huile de baies de laurier sont cuites dans un grand chaudron, avec l'eau et la soude à feux doux, ainsi s'opère le procédé de saponification.
Cette pâte est ensuite coulée, et après refroidissement elle est découpée manuellement.
Les savons sont alors disposés en tour, dans une cave à l'abri du soleil pendant une période de dix mois. |
